Taboulé
Recipe for "taboulé" from my mother:
- 1/2 cup of couscous
- 1/2 cup of warm water
- Some salt
- 2 table spoons of lemon juice
- 1 table spoon of vinegar and 1 of olive oil
- Lots of cucumber cut in very small pieces (biggest size on shredder)
- Tomatoes in very small pieces too
- Mint cut in small pieces
- Onions... optional
- Mix all that and let it soak for at least two hours, mix it from time to time to make sure it's evenly soaked.
- Just taste it and adjust as needed.
